Miravela — Terms of Use

Effective date: October 6, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Yabin Alejandro Lagunes Cuevas, trading as The Alchemist Code ("we", "us"), the publisher of Miravela ("the app"). By using the app you accept them. If you don't, please don't use it.

1. You must be 18 or older

Miravela is for adults only. By using it you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

2. What Miravela is, and what it isn't

Miravela is a tarot app for reflection and entertainment.

3. AI-generated content

Interpretations, follow-up answers and the memory summary are generated by artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic) and are labeled as such. They are not written by a person.

4. Free features and Premium

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Premium is sold through Google Play, under Google Play's terms:

6. Acceptable use

Don't:

We may limit or suspend access to the AI features for anyone who breaks these rules.

7. Readings with real tarot readers: not available yet

The app lets you join a waitlist for future readings with human readers, and lets readers sign up for it. This service is not available yet. Joining the waitlist is not a booking or a purchase, and we don't promise that the service will launch. If it does, it will have its own terms.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its design, the Constellations deck and the card texts belong to The Alchemist Code. The Classic 1909 deck reproduces artwork by Pamela Colman Smith (1909), which is in the public domain.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data the app handles. Your readings stay on your phone; your questions are sent to our server and to Anthropic only to write your interpretation, and are not stored on our server.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on a reading, or for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have as a consumer under laws that cannot be waived.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted at this address with a new date.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live, and in Mexico you may also go to PROFECO (Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor).
